Sweet friend and former co-worker, Kristen, contacted my in 2010 to help her plan/orchestrate her June 2012 wedding. She and her fiance, Tim, had dated for 10 years and she was excited to marry her best friend in a beautiful summer setting at Belle Meade Plantation. With the help of some of Nashville’s finest vendors, we planned, schemed and strategized to give this sweet couple a spectacular, swoon-worthy wedding full of southern charm!
A special thanks to Erin Lee of The Collection for sharing these images with us!
The reception details were so tasteful and highlighted the couples’ personality and the southern charm of the plantation. Custom table runners and flower-filled mason jars adorned the dining tables, adding a touch of character and color.
Photographs of the couple’s ten years together hung from the tack line on the side porches.
A beautiful two-tired wedding cake set atop a custom cake plate for the couple to enjoy while a nearly 3 ft long Neyland Stadium cake served as the feature dessert for the event! Tim, a graduate of The University of Tennessee, was also a member of the ‘Pride of the Southland’ band!
The weather was perfect, the food delicious and the setting stunning. Watching these two (finally!) tie the knot was a highlight of my summer and I was so honored to be a part of it! With beautiful details and talented vendors, this couple’s dream wedding was stunning!
