I liked Liz from the first phone conversation. Her spunk and energy were intoxicating and we shared a common bond: state employees! She was incredibly organized and excited so pulling the final details together for her fall Green Door Gourmet wedding was a pleasure. The smiles on their faces NEVER LEFT! They were one of the happiest, most excited couples I’ve met!
I was lucky enough to have attended a Nashville Wedding Planner’s Group meeting at Green Door Gourmet just a few weeks before she contacted me, so the layout ideas were fresh on my mind. With a soft, elegant palette of pale pink and gray, her design ideas transformed the inside of this venue into a soft, romantic setting. She was marrying an artist, who created beautiful decor details and signage for the event and her simple, but tastefully styled event took shape. With guest-friendly details like a popcorn bar for cocktail hour, a well-stocked bar and midnight snacks, her guests danced ALL. NIGHT. LONG!
Liz had contracted several vendors that I had not worked with before, which can add a new level of anxiety when sorting through a couple’s plans/details. These guys? Knocked it out of the park! Super friendly bartenders, incredible photographer, a catering staff who quickly became a favorite and a floral designer who spoke my language: timeline!!
The impeccable style of this couple and their dream team of vendors quickly landed them on Wedding Chicks as a featured wedding!
