Brigid & Troy – Old Hickory lakeside wedding – 9.8.12

On a spectacular September evening, Brigid and Troy were married at their home overlooking Old Hickory Lake. From the pool-side bluegrass band to an appearance by The Grilled Cheeserie, this wedding was full of exciting details, great music and incredible celebration!  The amazingly talented Tyler Andrews was in attendance to capture this sweet couple’s beautifully styled and detailed lakeside wedding celebration! I’m going to let the photographs do most of the story-telling…Prepare to drool…

The bride’s grandmother’s stunning white formal gown was tastefully altered/accessorized to modernize its silhouette and Brigid looked incredible in vintage!

A vintage boat swept the newlyweds into the sunset for incredible photo opportunities while the band began to get things started by the pool.

Their sweet ceremony was followed by a party no guest will soon forget! The Hogslop String Band welcomed the couple to their reception and guests gathered around long dining tables for the family-style dinner catered by Local Kitchen.

With so many out of town guests, Brigid and Troy wanted to keep the party going well into the morning! The band moved the party to the patio behind the couple’s home, where string lights and candlelight illuminated the lake. These thoughtful hosts conspired for The Grilled Cheeserie (YUM!) to surprise their guests and served midnight snacks to the hungry crew!

So, although I’m a bit behind in my blogging, I think it was worth the wait, huh?! A beautiful couple, so much in love, a gorgeous location, and fantastic vendors made this event one of my favorites! We were so honored to be a part of Troy and Brigid’s special event, which would not have been possible without the talent of these amazing Nashville vendors:
