Melis & Michael – The Governor’s Club – 4.28.12

What a sweet couple!  In April, I was given the chance to work with Melis Agaoglu and Michael Popwell to coordinate/orchestrate their wedding day.  This event was full of fun elements and sweet surprises! A group of fantastic wedding vendors, possibly THE sweetest families and bridal party I’ve ever worked with, the incredible Governor’s Club and a beautiful Saturday evening set the foundation for this gorgeous wedding!

The ceremony took place outdoors under a cloudless sky which made for beautiful photographs!

With design/styling by Meredith Zeller of Bridal Blueprints, this couple’s big day was a spectacular blend of ivory, gold shimmer and peacock blue. Custom designed menus by the bride and beautiful white floral centerpieces adorned the tables.

The Nick Carver Band, a well-stocked bar, tamborines and cowboy hats kept the reception lively!

During the reception, Michael, a music industry professional (and talented guitarist!) was surprised with an AMAZING guitar by his sweet new bride and was given the chance to perform with the band!
