You couldn’t ask for a sweeter couple than Nate and Heather. Sometimes, “working” a friend’s wedding can be challenging. You are juggling many responsibilities while also trying to enjoy the event. With Clay in the wedding as a groomsmen and myself acting as coordinator/floral designer/guest, we ran ourselves crazy the week of the wedding ensuring every detail was perfect and thought through! We couldn’t ask for sweeter friends or a happier couple.
Starting with the vibrant purple of the bridesmaids’ dresses and the rustic feel of the venue, Heather decided she wanted bright, textured blooms for their July event. Bold pinks, cheerful yellows and wildflower textures were used to create the bouquets, centerpieces and altar accents.
Their ceremony was sweet, heartfelt and short, thank heavens, as it was nearing 90′ that day! Friends and family were so excited to celebrate with them and dig into the bbq reception.
My favorite part of the day! Because sky lanterns are illegal in Murfreesboro/Nashville, I have never had the chance to be a part of one of these send-offs! I could hardly wait to get my hands on one of these and the images are so great!!
