Why we “do” what we “do”

At a recent event, I was asked why we “do” what we “do”.  We’ve been asked this question before and we had a cute, short answer, but this particular event solidified our reasons.  Besides loving the challenge of a budget wedding or the logistics of an incredibly involved wedding, we “do” what we “do” for the following reasons:

1.  For the nervous groom, who can hardly stand the anticipation.

2.  For the hugs from thankful and appreciative mother’s of the bride.

3.  For the Maid of Honor who becomes completely overwhelmed with keeping the bride calm.

4.  For the sweet “thank yous” from precious ring bearers and flower girls.

5.  For the leftover cake!  =)

6.  For the high-five we give each other after the bride makes it down the aisle.

7.  For the whispered “This is lovely!” or “What a beautiful wedding!” from guests and family.

8.  For the peace of mind, knowing another wedding was planned, coordinated, and executed just as the bride dreamed.

We love what we do.  We have a wonderful time with brides and grooms alike and have walked away with happy clients and sweet friends.  Planning someone’s dream wedding can be time-consuming and sometimes stressful but we enjoy every minute of it!  We work well together, get twice as much accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Kennedy Occasions.  Thanks to our family, friends, and clients who offer support, encouragement, and kind words!  Your enthusiasm means the world to us!
