I know, I know. I’m behind on blogging. Honestly, it’s not a strong point and sometimes I DREAD the idea of uploading pictures, tagging them and bragging about an event. However, September has been a rough month. To be completely honest, it nearly did me in. My stress level reached an entirely new, unprecedented level, my emotions were out of control and I have hardly slowed down to catch my breath. As October unfolds, I’m hoping to decompress a bit; do some traveling and other things that make me truly happy and work towards a new business model/branding/focus for my spring events…
Thinking about “spring” led me to a revelation….I never blogged our style shoot!!! How I forgot, I do NOT know, because this is dripping in cuteness!!! A huge THANK YOU to Meagan for her late-night scheming, couple-finding and image-producing talents that led us to these images!!
Meagan Fisher of Monroe Imagery and I styled this adorable farm picnic shoot at Belle Meadows Farm in Lascassas, TN. We planned and schemed and searched for the perfect couple to fit our quirky, colorful picnic idea and after several months of deliberating, we had the PERFECT setup/couple/inspiration. Belle Meadows Farm set a beautiful backdrop for our sweet couple (who thought we were crazy with our “turn here”, “drop your shoulders”, “hold these balloons”!), the weather was perfect, the couple was adorable and our props were spot-on (cause who doesn’t take a random metal ampersand and an unusable vintage oil lamp *without oil* to a picnic?!)! 😉
Loved the coral bouquet I created for the shoot (again, who DOESN’T have a bouquet of flowers for a farm picnic?!) Parrot tulips, ruffle-edged roses, astilbe and hypericum berries made such a lovely little nosegay!
Below….probably my favorite image from this shoot. Love it’s simplicity and detail.
Our talented friend Jenifer created this INCREDIBLE ‘naked’ cake with French vanilla, lemon and strawberry glaze fillings! I loved this shot Meagan created with the distressed wooden chair!
