Garmen/Edmonds wedding- June 19th

While on my way to an appointment one Tuesday in April (or maybe it was Wednesday?), I received a call from Ashley Garmen.  Sweet, confident, happy Ashley.  She was interested in our help on her wedding day to coordinate her vendors…and man, she had quite a few!  Lighting, cake, flowers, photographers, rentals, musicians…. She wanted some help!  She and fiance John, were planning a “tree”/garden- themed wedding and reception at Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro and she had a very clear vision of what she wanted. 

Curly willow and hydrangeas lined the aisle, while calla lilies, tulips and roses were used in the table arrangements and bouquets .  These floral designs by Belles and Buttercups were perfect in the hotel’s small ballroom to achieve the earthy, garden-feel Ashley dreamed of. 

Candles and garden lanterns were used to add a touch of romance to the venue while chocolate brown eyelash pintucks glimmered in the candlelight.  A string trio from Belmont University filled the room with classic waltzes and melodies.  Uplighting from Techworks and a custom gobo designed by John (groom) helped soften the ballroom’s bold colors.

The wedding cake, by Crumb de la Crumb, was classic and elegant and featured mango, dulce de leche and Godiva-flavored layers! 

The guest list was small and intimate and exactly as the two of them wanted.  Their families were gracious and bridal party so elegant.  Everyone worked well together to ensure this day was absolutely perfect.  These two are strong in faith and completely in love with one another; such a sweet pair.
