I love when a bride’s main focus is her marriage to her best friend. The details and stress can be overwhelming (I could drive home the need for a wedding planner/coordinator) but despite the trials of a long engagement, Kate was a gracious, beautiful bride. These two are crazy in love and didn’t sweat the small stuff. I love how at ease they are with one another.
We met several times at the farm. Each time we worked through different elements of the day until we had an incredible set of vendors and beautiful decor details. The ceremony was set up under the old white oak tree on the property and the weather cooperated nicely.
The ring bearers and flowers girls are my favorite ever. Hands down.
With dark purple as our primary color, we brought in fall shades of orange, yellow and pink to brighten the wooden barn. Planter boxes filled with fall blooms acted as centerpieces for the dining tables as guests enjoyed an incredible Italian dinner in the paddock under the string lights. Rustic elements, including burlap and whiskey barrels, were used tastefully in the decor.
Hiring a good photographer is one of the best investments you can make in your wedding day. Your flowers, as much as I love them, will die. Your cake will be eaten and your guests will forget…UNLESS you have incredible images. Like these from their sunset session after the ceremony…
Guests moved inside for cake and dancing and we witnessed THE most emotional first dance in my history as a wedding planner.
